    Asma Rouabhia was born and raised in Tunisia wherein she went on to study Diplomacy and International relations. She also obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and then further studied Leadership at California State University – Chico.

    She is the Founder of ProActive Youth and is part of several youth-led networks around the world. Asma is an Arab and pan-Africanist young woman with big dreams and a vision for positive change. She is a trainer in entrepreneurship, community solutions, social innovation and leadership.

    Asma Rouabhia is the first recipient of the U.S. Middle East Partnership Initiative (MEPI) Alumni of the Year Award. She is the Tunisian Laureate of the ‘Women in Africa’ initiative for 2019.

    She is also an award-winning project leader with the Islamic Development Bank and a winner of Accelerate MENA program. She is the Head of Marketing and Communication of the continental organization African Youth Architects and together they are organizing the first Young African Leaders Awards.
