The day everything almot fell apart:
Three weeks after finishing my final year at University, I got a call from the organization where I did my industrial attachment. It was my department supervisor who made the call to invite me to meet the CEO of the company. This meeting was arranged after the department had recommended me to be employed for the webmaster role of the company. Since I was in my home town at the time, I had to travel to the city for the meeting. I met the CEO and he expressed his desire to hire me, however he needed the consent of senior management to approve the move. To get through this he called the COO of the company and briefed him.

I had been very helpful to the COO during my attachment time so I was quietly confident that he would back me. Unfortunately, to my shock the COO came and turned down the proposal. I was so disappointed and heartbroken especially to be treated this way by somebody I thought I knew well. Looking back though I can now see that if I had joined that organization I would not have grown to be who I am now. So I am happy that that happened and God guided me to a better future.
