The Nasser International Forum Launches Application for Fifth Batch of Nasser Fellowship for International Leadership

Africa’s Premier Global Youth Leadership Fellowship Is Open For Applications

The Nasser International Forum has announced the launch of the application form for the fifth batch of the Nasser Fellowship for International Leadership. This prestigious fellowship, held under the patronage of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, will bring together 150 young leaders from diverse executive fields and influential youth from around the world.

Application Details and Target Audience

Hassan Ghazaly, the anthropologist and founder of the Nasser International Forum, stated that the fifth batch targets 150 leaders from various countries. This includes:

  • Decision-makers in the public sector
  • Graduates of the African Union Volunteer Program
  • Graduates of the United Nations Volunteer Program
  • Graduates of the National Leadership Academy
  • Executive leaders in the private sector
  • Representatives of the national committees of the World Youth Forum
  • Members of the Non-Aligned Movement Youth Network
  • Civil society activists
  • Presidents of national youth councils
  • Members of local councils
  • Young political party leaders
  • Faculty members in universities
  • Researchers in strategic and intellectual research centers
  • Members of professional syndicates
  • Journalists and media professionals
  • Social entrepreneurs

Selection Criteria and Objectives

The fifth edition of the Nasser Fellowship for International Leadership aims to select distinguished young leaders from around the world based on precise and fair criteria, reflecting a commitment to transparency and equal opportunities. These criteria align with Egypt’s Vision 2030, the Sustainable Development Goals, and regional and global agendas. The comprehensive selection system ensures social justice and leadership innovation.

Eligibility and Participation

Applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 40. The fellowship is open to youth from the Global South, including Africa, Asia, Latin America, and other regions.

About the Nasser Fellowship

The Nasser Fellowship for International Leadership is a key initiative of Egypt, supporting international development efforts. It enhances the qualification of deserving cadres by providing support, qualification, and training to empower them in leadership and executive positions. The fellowship also aims to share Egypt’s developmental experience in strengthening institutions and building national identity.
